This situation represents a unique opportunity for commercially minded and sales-driven energy professionals, who think out-of-the-box and who want to put their skills to use in such a setting. In this growth context, the DACH region currently has an attractive opening as a Senior Originator, focusing on the Swiss market.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities in line with Alpiq’s portfolio
  • Focusing on structured trading products, risk management and flexible contracts for power, gas and certificates
  • Managing and upscaling existing customer relations as well as acquiring new ones
  • Closely collaborating with the colleagues from the trading floor, risk management, legal and other internal stakeholders
Your Qualifications
  • University degree or similar
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar function
  • Strong networks within the Swiss energy market, deep understanding of local players and market mechanisms, energy logistics, etc.
  • Ability to deal with high levels of complexity and strong financial acumen
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to tailor competitive business proposals
  • Fluency in German and English, French would be an advantage
