Senior People & Culture Partner

Fixed term March 1 to December 31, 2023


Reports to: People & Culture Lead, Switzerland

Location: Zürich

Position Summary

The Senior People & Culture Partner, reports to the People & Culture Lead and supports him/her in successfully ensuring world-class HR support for all employees in Switzerland. This includes being accountable for all HR operations and administration at the International HQ ensuring full compliance and alignment with both global standards and local requirements, being the first point of contact for employees on a broad range of HR-related topics and supporting the People & Culture Lead on a variety of HR Business Partnering activities and Projects.


He/she will ensure that all HR matters are treated with confidentiality, and that the HR processes are fully integrated and efficiently communicated. As an expert in relevant Swiss HR processes and systems, the incumbent will ensure consistent and timely application of key processes. He/she will also coordinate some specific Employee Experience projects at the HQ level.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Partnering effectively with leaders, managers and employees across the business and providing leadership and coaching to drive successful implementation of our people and culture strategy in a consistent manner
  • Actively leads and/or supports in regional and local HR projects and initiatives
  • Handles employees HR-related questions and requests in a timely manner
  • Supports in hire and onboarding for new employees
  • Support in off-boarding (employees leaving company) as well as transferring employees appropriately
  • Support in preparing payroll data and manage the relationship with the Payroll team and external provider, ensuring accuracy of payroll process
  • Provides information to employees on Company’s current policies, time management, benefits and other matters
  • Ensure the quality and timely updates of HR master databases and personnel files with employee data as/when required (Excel, Outlook etc.).
  • Manage all employment documentation, such as preparing employment contracts and other hire-related documents, preparing promotion letter, contract addendums, maternity letters, and supporting the P&C Partner Lead in other activities
  • Collaborates closely with COEs including C&B, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Internal Communications

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior HR Role, incl. project management, required
  • Demonstrates strong learning agility with ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Strong customer service approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Strong systems experience and skills (especially Excel)
  • Fluency in English both written and oral mandatory, German knowledge – an asset
