Senior PR & Communication Specialist

We’re looking for a Senior PR & Communication Specialist to support the projects’ development of IBSA Foundation and Corporate Communication that will further raise and build across Switzerland.

Activities And Responsibilities

Creation and implementation of the PR strategy for IBSA Foundation projects in Switzerland

Manage PR activities; coordinating press events and mailings, editing special data-led reports, coming up with ideas for campaign activities, helping coordinate and deliver on partnership programs

Initiate and execute out of the box PR activities and events or stories

Develop projects with (social) influencers and key opinion leaders

Organization of local events, press conferences for journalists or corresponding activities for influencers

Identify, press opportunities and platforms to integrate IBSA Foundation projects and contributing to increase share of voice and visibility of the brand IBSA

Utilize own existing strong network within the Swiss media landscape, establishing and maintaining close relationships with Swiss journalists and influencers

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

has at least 5 years’ experience of either agency or in-house PR and is looking to broaden his or her experience as part of Corporate communication’s in-house PR team

has a scientific degree or a degree in public relations or mass communications

has developed a broad network within Swiss media and press

has a deep interest in scientific dissemination, cultural, art and educational activities

has strong verbal and written communication skills

is responsible and takes ownership of the assigned tasks

is open, approachable, with winning personality with diplomatic skills

is creative, self-motivated and proactive. Always-on mentality is essential

is a team player and able to work in close collaboration with others to achieve common goals

is detail-oriented, well-organized and used to simultaneously handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Language’s requirements:

German language at the mother tongue level is a must

Italian, French and English skills at professional level
