In view of our continued global growth, we are recruiting a Sr Preclinical Scientistwith strongexpertise in the field of urinary tract infection (UTIs)at our headquarters in Geneva. Reporting to the Head of Preclinical, your mission is i) to manage external experimental studies in the UTI field using bladder models and provide scientific support to the preclinical department; ii) to support the Brand Lead and the Integrated Brand Team on key projects and analysis.

Your Main Responsibilities Are As Follows
  • As expert in microbiology in the field of UTI and related uro-pathogens, bring scientific value to the Preclinical Department and significantly contribute to our basic research on untapping UTI etiology and patient responding profile
  • Be responsible for conducting and testing the antimicrobial and immunotherapeutic effect induced by the microbial content of one of our key products
  • Lead external preclinical studies using microfluids

In addition to your focus on scientific evidence generation, you will integrate the Integrated Brand Team and contribute to some key initiatives as agreed with the Brand Lead UTI.

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
  • Ph.D. in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Cell Biology or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in ideation studies, from concept to implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in publishing scientific literature in the field of Urinary Tract Infections and/or immunology
  • Effective communication skills in presenting results
  • Fluency in English (speaking & writing) with, ideally, good oral skills in French
  • A keen interest for business, for translating scientific input into commercial strategy and commercial needs into scientific projects.
