We are looking for a DevOps Person with no Ops! Meaning someone who to take on this responsibility for the newly built position in an engineering team of 12 people.

This is a greenfield project, so we are looking for someone who can jump on the train fast, has hands-on experience and understands DevOps in general.

This Are Your Key Responsibilities
  • Improve current application landscape and further enhance the efficiency and the capability
  • Be the SPOC, the Expert for automation tools to bring the delivery model up to speed and to a high standard for a highly automated CI/CD platform
  • Design and Develop highly automated solutions for deployment
  • Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, etc.
  • Implement best practice methodologies
  • Reduce manual operational tasks via deployment automation and testing
  • Act as a role model in this position and coach other team members and collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders
This Is Preferably You
  • English business fluency
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT field
  • Understanding DevOps by heart
  • Hands-on Experience in build automation, automatic deployment, kubernetes, configuration management
  • Preferably experience in hands-on Software Engineering in like Python, Java, C++, …
  • Experienced design and development of highly automated solutions as well as the whole CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in applying best practices
Technologies You Should Know About
  • Cloud Concepts: API Management, Open Web Application Security Project, Server Provisioning, Infrastructure as Code
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Deployment tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, JIRA, ArgoCD, SonarQube
  • Configuration tools: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
  • Monitoring: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
