We are now looking to welcome an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager ito support our R&D department on a permanent basis. The position will be located in Frauenfeld, Switzerland and there will be the opportunity to travel internationally (approx. 10% of the time).

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Project Manager Fuel Conversions, work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Act as a project manager with focus on future fuel conversion related development projects.
- Capture fuel conversion requirements and provide relevant inputs to R&D for new features and participate in pilot projects.
- Work out the technical needs and closely collaborate with R&D to develop the new product.
- Participate in the technical meetings with R&D, making sure that the project requirements are specified and met during development.
- Support Product Management for any lifecycle related task (development till phase out).
- Ensure that projects are executed according Wärtsilä project standards.
- Work in close cooperation with development project controlling.
- Be a technical coordinator for internal stakeholders.
- Handle all work packages related to fuel conversion projects.
- Resolve issues in due time and record the needs for next development phases.
- Deliver accurate documentation, specifications and relevant customer information packages e.g. manuals.
- Bachelor or master’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive exposure to R&D, resolutions, integration, and design.
- Demonstrable experience successfully completing large-scale system integration projects.
- Self-driven, requiring minimum supervision to see activities through to closure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, promoting collaborative working relationships with cross-organisational teams.
