Your Responsibilities

• Being a primary interface for internal and external stakeholders
• Planning and coordination of coating trials and campaigns for the European team
• Simultaneously managing multiple projects.
• Preparation and approval of technical reports including quotations, work plans, project documentation, coating specifications and QA documentation.
• Analyses of lab results and run data, compilation of final reports
• Acts as a technical consultant towards internal and external customers
• Interfaces with the other Coating Solution Centers to share & learn from projects & experience
  
  

Your Profile

In addition to your university technical degree and 5+ years of related work experience, you have an excellent knowledge of general surface technologies. You are experienced in managing multiple international projects. You are at ease with interpreting technical drawings and documents and solving problems under the pressure of market demands. You have experience with managing high performance teams. Experience with thermal spraying is required.

You consistently demonstrate a focus on tasks and a high level of self-control. You have a strong customer focus and business sense. You have the ability to break down technical projects into manageable tasks and delegate activities to team members. You are able to summarize technical concepts and work activities in a clear, concise and efficient manner.

As an open-minded person, you have strong communication skills in addition to your customer-orientated attitude. You are self-motivated. You possess the ability to motivate and coach others.

Due to the international character of this position, the candidate is expected to have a good oral and written command of the English language.
