Purpose

This is a key in-house strategy position for an organized, passionate, and goal-oriented future leader who understands what projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change.
  • Drive major change initiatives across functions
  • Manage (senior) stakeholder’s relationship and secure buy-ins to project deliverables
  • Coach and groom junior talents
  • Furthering project management capabilities and knowledge management of the team
  • Uphold and enhance the brand of Strategy & Projects with (senior) stakeholders
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead overall program, project, and work streams deliverables (e.g., project planning, milestones execution and monitoring) in alignment with strategic direction
  • Identify business opportunities through development of new capabilities, and align and balance cross-divisions’ interest
  • Manage effective and timely communication on project progress and results to sponsors and senior management (PMO activities)
  • Lead interpretation of program, project results and translate into insights to steer the project successfully
  • Effectively deploy project management toolkit across work streams to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables
  • Coach and Manage activities of (assistant) of project resources (internal and external)
  • Develop a broad view of Adidas organization and processes to act as content driver and thought partner on projects
  • Contribute to the Strategy & Programs departmental activities (e.g., knowledge sharing and employer branding)
  • Ad’hoc support of the business in areas where strong structuring and strategic thinking might be required (e.g., crisis management, change management)
Key Relationships
  • Report directly to the Director or Sr. Director of Strategy & Programs
  • Drive project activities and connect with other stakeholders to share activities across work streams
  • Initiate and drive discussions with x-functional stakeholders to collect and consolidate feedback, prepare and align solutions
  • Proactively manage stakeholders, build relationships and manage communication
  • Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
    • Product (Creation functions, Footwear, Apparel and A&G product ops, etc.)
    • Markets (SCM and Sales functions)
    • Marketing (horizontal and vertical BU divisions)
    • GOPS (Global IT, SCM, etc.)
    • Corporate functions (e.g. legal, finance & performance management)

  • Discipline in planning time management and organization skills
  • Project management lean six-sigma certification
  • Other HR toolboxes (e.g., Campus and self-learning modules)
People Management Skills
  • Manage project teams
  • Coach junior team members through providing feedbacks to support the development and performance of the team
  • Drive and manage onboarding

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in MNC environment (e.g. top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, or supply chain management, background)
  • Within which 1-2 years of relevant project leadership, team management experiences
  • University degree
