For one of our clients in the insurance industry we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager SAP-FSCM

Start date: September 2021
Duration: End of December 2021 with option for an extension in 2022
Location: Zurich (Currently remote from within Switzerland)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IFRS9 enabler team of the IFRS9 project (One or more Subprojects), including the project planning, status reports, management updates and budget responsibility
  • Align the upcoming changes with the current scope and perform Gap Analysis and Feasibility studies.
  • Perform Business Analysis
  • Review functional/non-functional requirements for the upcoming changes

Essentials Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years of Investment Accounting experience in the Finance Industry, Insurance mandatory
  • At least 10 years of work experience with SAP FSCM/New GL
  • Professional certification in Accounting with deep understanding of IFRS (IAS39 and IFRS9) and local GAAP
  • Proven ability to lead and work with multi-cultural project teams and facilitating work shops
  • Project management certification (e.g. IPMA, Prince)
  • Strong Communication skills in written and spoken English

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge about Finance and Investment instruments (mainly: Securities, FX, Money Market, Derivatives, Alternatives, HF and Mortgages)
  • Deep Knowledge of Financial Instruments in the investment processes of an insurer, including the integration from/to other systems
  • Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g. analytical skills, requirement engineering)
  • Deep knowledge of SAP-FSCM
  • Project Management and BA methodology skills
  • Good Accounting skills (IFRS knowledge, especially IAS 39 and IFRS9)
  • SAP FSCM: Deep Knowledge as Business Analyst and Project Manager
  • Other IT provider: Deep Kowledge in integration of other investment systems into FSCM/New-GL
  • MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Visio)
  • MS Project, MS ACCESS (nice to have)
