Senior Quality Manager

We are looking for a Senior Quality Managerin Visp, Switzerland. You lead strategic execution of Global quality strategies, including Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), across the Visp site in direct alignment with business needs / objectives. You drive growth and revenue through continued application of quality as a business differentiator.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall administration of any and all relevant quality certification programs (e.g. ISO-9000, EFfCI, GMP, etc.) for the Visp site.

• Effective and efficient leadership of the quality assurance and quality control activities for Visp, including continuous improvement of functional KPIs

• Accountable for translating global quality strategies into tactical site quality plans while ensuring quality compliance and effectiveness of Arxada products and services

• Key liaison with internal Visp functional leaders to lead development and customer / stakeholder communication of Visp / Arxada quality

• Effectively lead operational strategies to ensure regulatory and customer compliance across the site and relevant ancillary functions interfacing / integrating with Quality

• Lead and develop Visp quality team with regards to overall functional competencies, leadership abilities, and performance management, including application of the functional competency model, IDP’s and career planning / succession

• Accountable for Visp KPI / Quality cost metrics, performance of same, and establishment of business relevant targets to support the on-going Arxada growth strategy

• Implement customer centric quality plans across the site to measure and improve key quality parameters, associated performance and management reporting.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor of Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)

• Substantial experience in Quality/Regulatory Affairs/Manufacturing related position, preferably in a Chemical company

• Quality Certified (CQM/OE, CQE, CQA, LSS, etc.) you are experienced in Process Optimization

• Demonstrated ability in cross-cultural as well as cross functional leadership specific to the area / site of accountability

• Strong interpersonal, organization, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

• Result oriented, proactive and able to handle complexity

• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) in English and German

• Excellent computer software skills including Microsoft Office.
