Your contribution

  • Develop and coordinate the technical and strategic aspects of signalling and automation technologies.
  • Create the configuration data which is required for operation of a computer-controlled signaling and safety system
  • Competent contact person for external and internal stakeholders in the course of CBTC and ATS development and implementation projects
  • Requirements analysis, design/finalisation of solution concepts and software modelling
  • Further development of existing software components with regard to future requirements
  • Ensuring economic success and (internal) customer satisfaction for ATC domain in CBTC application projects

Your profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering or systems engineering preferably with railway specific specialization
  • Experience in conducting development activities for CBTC products or projects and design of standards for signalling systems
  • Professional experience of minimum 5 years in railway transportation systems as Architect / (System) Engineering Design in ATC for CBTC domain
  • Performed hands on design engineering activities for Hardware & Software engineering for wayside and onboard ATC CBTC subsystem besides evaluation of operational scenarios, requirements, and interfaces
  • Experience in hardware and software development for the ATC-CBTC system on the track and in Onboard vehicles as well as in the evaluation of operational scenarios, requirements and interfaces
  • Fluent in English, German skills are an advantage
