Profile

• Bachelor or Master diploma (HES, EPF or equivalent) in industrial informatics, system design or electronics
• Minimum 7 years of industrial experience in embedded software, preferably in the Medical Device Industry or other highly regulated environment
• Strong team spirit and ability to evolve in a global environment
• Valid permit to work in Switzerland
• Languages:
• French: fluent
• English: fluent
  

Tasks

• Contribute to the software system architecture for new medical devices
• As part of team, design and implement embedded software for new medical devices based on Agile principles
• Develop PC based tools for development/testing purpose
• Maintain and develop the CI/CD infrastructure with the team
• Support manufacturing and design transfer
• Contribute to software documentation compliant with medical standards
• Maintain software of existing medical device products

• Required skills
• Expert: C99, git
• Good knowledge: C++, C#, SQL, Linux, Bash, System Modeling (UML)
• Familiar with modern software design techniques/principles: Design patterns, SOLID, TDD, SCRUM
• Any experience within the following domains is a plus:
• Python, Swift, Kotlin
• Wifi, Bluetooth, CAN/CANopen
• QNX, FreeRTOS, Qt
• Battery operated devices, cost-effective designs
• Signal Processing
• CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Static/Dynamic code analysis
