Join us and make a difference.Under the direction of the External Manufacturing Supply Chain Operations Management, this position will support the External Manufacturing Chain Operations in areas of the Customer Services, Inventory and Logistics.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinates supply of products and materials as per business requirements coming either from the supply- and replenishment plan, or arising from other business needs, such as validation and technical trial needs, development needs, clinical supply needs, etc.
- Ensures in-time deliveries of Finished Goods (FG), Drug Products (DP), Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Intermediates and Key Starting Materials and generates corresponding shipping documents
- Ensures all national and international road and air freight shipments (imports/exports) are carried out in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices / Good Distribution Practices as well as customs (free trade agreements) regulations
- Manage and ensure of specific thermo requirements on transports of GMP-materials according to risk assessment (thermo blankets, loggers, protocols, etc).
- Issues and investigates logistics-related deviations in eQRMS
- Generates monthly reconciliations of FG, DP, API- and API-related inventories
- Investigates and clarifies inventory discrepancies
- Performs all Enterprise-Resource-Planning transactions for FG, DP, API and Starting Material movements related to logistics
- Conducts yearly physical inventory counts
- Coordinates destructions of material inventories
- Ensures alignment of Purchase Orders between Oracle and local ERP system (SAP)
- Monitors delivery related KPI’s
- Comply with all Regulatory/Finance/Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)/ Security compliance procedures
- Perform special tasks assigned by his/her Manager
- Extensive experience in logistics (import/export), ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge in transportation (import/export) as well as customs and trade regulations
- Numerate, well organized, flexible and have good attention to detail
- Very good ability in setting priorities
- Ability to work effectively with groups in other geographical locations
- Strong inventory management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Professional understanding of GDP and Data Integrity principles
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, be a team player and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required
- Strong process orientation and interest to drive continuous improvement
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong background with ERP systems Oracle and SAP
- Higher level of computer literacy – Excel, Word, Power Point
