Senior Team Leader Quality Control Services

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Lead the Quality Control (QC) Services group focusing on sample management and compliance related activities within the Quality Control Unit Bern
  • Supervise QC Specialists engaged in laboratory operations for sample coordination, eLIMS masterdata maintenance, stability management, training coordination and compliance activities to ensure high productivity and compliance with cGMP standards
  • Author/Review/Approve documents from processes and provide leadership and management to these processes
  • Be process owner of several QC processes linked to sample management and laboratory processes
  • Ensure compliance of processes with global and local policies and procedures
  • Ensure management and coordination of GMP stability programs to support projects on site and external contract services
  • Ensure that deviation linked to sample management and compliance are properly investigated, appropriate and effective CAPAs are defined and implemented
  • Support inspections during preparation, execution and follow up
  • Set team goals and objectives in line with company business target.
  • Supervise and coach the QC Services team of highly skilled experts and support their development and the performance of appraisals

Qualifications
  • University degree in natural sciences, applied sciences or equivalent working professional experience
  • Proven track record in Quality Control or other Quality unit is required
  • Sound knowledge of laboratory operations and practices
  • Experience in overseeing and leading a team of Specialists to meet a common goal while adhering to all associated timelines for multiple projects
  • Highly organized, a self-starter, results oriented individual with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment with attention to detail and good documentation practice
  • Strong leadership capabilities and communication skills
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization and in an international environment
  • Strong strategic and conceptual skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Flexible, pragmatic, however determined to set aims and reach goals
  • Ability to prioritize and to endure peak times
  • Proactive attitude, challenging the status quo, team builder
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills are required, German would be an advantage
