We are looking for: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of forming, milling, assembly and testing tooling
  • Optimization and modification of existing tooling
  • Support to production problem solving related to tooling issues
  • Leadership in tool build from design to production approval, including evaluation of tool design
  • Continuous improvement of Mecaplex tooling standards (maintenance and operation)
  • Supporting of production trials where appropriate
Qualifications
  • More than 7 years of tooling design experience
  • Very good working knowledge of CATIA
  • Ability to interpret 2D prints and 3D models
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methods and project processes
  • Strong project management capabilities to ensure on time delivery of tool, managing tool build
budget, and analysis of measurement data.
  • Aviation experience is an strong Advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German required
