Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- You work directly with end-users and business partners to understand user workflow, ease-of-use issues and ensure the translation of ideas into product user requirements and designs
- You follow a user-centered design process to integrate ease-of-use and consistency into our products, while at the same time maintaining flexibility in process to accommodate unique customer needs
- You develop use scenarios, conceptual models, functional prototypes, user interface requirements, and detailed user interface designs using data from customer research and usability studies, marketing requirements, as well as system and subsystem requirements.
- You facilitate usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and other user-centered design methodologies
- You serve as a consulting resource for all usability and user interface design issues
- You provide continuous improvement to the user-centered design process, as well as other development processes
- You direct and mentor others by sharing knowledge and understanding
What You Need to Succeed
You hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent- You have at least 5 years’ experience in the field of usability or human factors engineering, preferably within a hardware and software environment
- You researched usability issues, conducted usability tests, and designed user interfaces within a similar industry
- You designed and evaluated high-fidelity UI for web- and mobile-based B2B and B2C software products in previous assignments
- You applied and lived User Centered Design Thinking in previous roles
- You worked in an agile environment, capable of balancing sprint work with big picture work
- Understanding of the pharma / medical industry a plus
- You have excellent communication and team working skills
- You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You gained preferably experience with Figma, Miro/Mural, and Mudblazor libraries or Angular
- You are willing and able to travel up to 20% globally
- You are fluent in English to work comfortably in an international environment, German language skills are a big plus
