SEO Specialist

For our client, Switzerland’s leading Pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a SEO Specialist with experience on an enterprise level within large organisations. This is initially a 12-month contract, with extension possibility, based in Zug, Switzerland.


General Information:

  • Start date: 16.12.2021
  • End date: 31.12.2022
  • Extension: On request and showed performance
  • Workplace:Zug
  • Workload: 100%
  • Remote/Home Office:Possible, the load will be discussed in the 2nd round interview

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the SEO strategy for key channels
  • Define, track and report on SEO KPIs
  • Define long term SEO and Content strategy working with stakeholders across: content creators, customer areas, solution marketing, affiliates and regions
  • Audit pre-selected websites for SEO readiness: Technical and content gap
  • Build requirements and propose the right IT tools to meet the strategy
  • Lead technical implementation
  • On-going optimizations
  • Competitor tracking
  • Upskill & train the internal Digital Marketing team

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of SEO experience in a similar position
  • You possess a strong understanding of user analytics, SEO, and Organic Search on an enterprise-level
  • Be able to be hands-on but also leverage internal (IT) and external partners
  • Experience with international, multilingual websites with a Global & local aspect
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (German, Spanish, French preferred)
  • Agency experience preferred - multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in Matrix organization and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Solid knowledge of xml, css, html and javascript
