We are currently looking to appoint a high-calibre Shift Engineer for our BiMOS team in Lenzburg, Switzerland. In this role, you will cover the technical responsibility for products, processes, maintenance and automation in your shift. In conjunction with the technicians, you ensure the 1st and 2nd level support in production, drive process improvements, initiate and execute repairs, assess non-conforming product in collaboration with the quality responsible and support the automation technicians in operation of the highly complex production lines. Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure general availability, quality and productivity od processes, systems, tasks and procedures according to protocol
  • Taking qualified technical decisions on system, process or product
  • Technical responsibility for technical shift personnel (repair, maintenance, set-up procedures, cleaning activities, etc.)
  • Execute and drive cross-shift projects (e.g. tool-/system responsibility, process responsibility)
  • Ensure 2nd level support
  • Maintain HSE procedures within the own shift, focused on technical activities for own personnel and contractors
  • Ensure electrotechnical competencies and conformity within the team

Your background
  • Solid degree in a discipline of relevance to the position (seasoned professionals or recent graduates with a HF, Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical field)
  • Basic electrotechnical training is a must
  • Knowledge of control systems, robotics, AGVs and ECS or MES systems is a plus
  • Standard statistical methods (e.g. SixSigma) to be trained
  • Product and process knowledge on all levels (e.g. raw material, (half -) finished goods, electrical parameters, etc.) to be trained
  • Experience in maintenance is a plus
  • Readiness to work in a 24/7 environment (shifts)
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken (Level B2/C1)
