The Role

As a newly created position, we are in search of a Shopify developer to join our company to be responsible for the e-commerce tech stack. As part of our team, you will provide an essential contribution to the digitalization of sales of our science-based longevity products.

Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Taking full ownership of the existing e-commerce tech stack (see below). We currently utilise the services of a Shopify development agency which we want to internalise by hiring you.
  • Implementing a better CMS for our Shopify blog by implementing a headless CMS such as Wordpress, Ghost etc.
  • Setting up a staging environment.
  • Setting up testing and uptime monitoring.
  • Implementing AB testing, custom dedicated landing pages for our products to test PPC campaigns etc.
  • Implementing GitHub for our custom templates.
  • Managing your own Asana board.
  • Daily collaboration with our marketers, copywriters and designers via Asana and Slack.
  • You will report to our Head of Technology.

Our current e-commerce tech stack that you will be responsible for:
  • Shopify with custom LangShop Theme
  • Klaviyo - We heavily rely on client lifecycle emails and newsletters

You’ll Fit Great With These Skills And Values
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Shopify developer.
  • Expert Knowledge of Shopify and all its features.
  • Can write code. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid are a must.
  • Solid product management experience and knowledge of e-commerce trends and best practices.
  • Familiar with SEO best practices.
  • Experience in project management, using tools such as Asana.
  • You are interested in working in an early-stage startup, where many things are still hectic at times, and where you have the chance to indeed contribute and make a difference
  • A healthy lifestyle is important to you
  • Interest in the longevity industry is a plus
