Software Dev Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job content

- Prepare and maintain test environments

- Design, implement and maintain automated tests (integration, end to end, performance)

- Implement smoke tests to achieve autonomous delivery workflow

- Monitor and analyze the tests results and trends, propose actions.

- Work closely with the development team to improve our process to build more resilient and high performance applications, and push them more often to production, with higher confidence.

- Constantly update your technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses

- Write and contribute to the test documentation

- Day to day engagement and participation to the team activities.

- Graduated from a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering with at least 2-3 years of experience of test development and/or software testing

- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Allure, Postman/Newman or equivalents is an asset

- Java programming experience

- Knowledge of Python and TensorFlow framework is an asset.

- Experience writing SQL queries ( data preparation, result validation )

- Comfortable working in a Linux environment

- Knowledge of Maven, Docker, Jenkins, Bash. Kubernetes is a plus

- You have good communication skills, are curious and eager to learn. You are able to work autonomously, identifying the priorities and work with a solution-oriented mindset.

- You have some interest for the trading business.

- Knowledge of financial instruments is an asset.

- Fluent in English, French is an asset.
