Software Platform Solution Specialist

On behalf of our client, a leading global travell company, we are looking for a candidate with a medical device industry or at least highly regulated industry background who can combine Technical IT and Software experience with Platform Solution Project experience. This candidate should be able to sell and explain the new solutions and support the project on different stages and within different times and needs. The R&D experience will help understand the dynamics and complexity of the project and the needs.

• Workplace: Zug
• Workload: 100%
• Remote/Home Office: on site work required due to testing, home office part time possible (2 days)
• Travel: max. 5-10% (visits to Germany and other European countries)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Promote and Manage Software-platform-development for individual application
• Become familiar with the products or services provided as well as keeping up to date with any new development
• Gain common understanding and needs about our platform and products
• Elaborate und present technical details across R&D Departments and stakeholders
• Engage as a multiplier for platform topics in our team and represent the interests of it
• Understand and contribute to requirement elaboration and architectural changes
• Create and review technical documents on platform and product level
• Support further enhancement of the platform

Must Haves:

• Min. bachelor’s degree and experience in Technical Sales or Technical management of platform solutions
• Min. 3-5+ years of experience as Technical Product Manager (or similar) including hardware interfaces
• Experience in the regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, railway)
• Good knowledge in Software Engineering including hardware-interfaces
• Proven track record of roadmap and technical concept engagement for SW-platforms on business and R&D level
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and German (oral fluency)
• Strong team player and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a collaborative fast-paced environment
• Good time management skills to meet users’ needs
