BOARD International, global software vendor leading the way in Business Intelligence, Analytics and CPM unification, is looking for a talented Software Testerto join the R&D team in our Chiasso HQ.

Reporting to the Software Testing Lead, you will provide support to our R&D team to maintain high quality standards of BOARD products.

If you take this challenge, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Executing System Test, No Regression Test, Configuration Test for web-based systems and multidimensional databases
  • Troubleshooting of incidents and analysis root causes bringing detailed incident report to developers
  • Tracking incidents related to product during development phase and releases, follow up of incident’s resolution and documentation
  • Preparing and collecting test data and business case scenarios
  • Collaborating with Support and Functionals areas during product release
  • Learning and mastering BOARD Software

What we look for:

  • Experience in software testing process and artifacts: Test planning and execution, no regression test execution, definition of test cases, bug reporting and verification, etc.
  • Experience in configuration and use of Windows Server
  • Experience in configuration and use of web servers (preferred IIS)
  • Ability and flexibility to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Basic Knowledge of SQL scripting and RDMS tools as MSSQL Server or MySQL, etc.
  • Basic Knowledge of REST API and Integration system
  • Test API (using Postman or SoapUI)
  • Experience with multidimensional databases (nice to have, not mandatory)
  • Experience using agile methodologies
  • Understanding of concepts of web development and software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Fluency in English
