Your field of responsibility
  • An exciting role within the Regulatory Tax Processing team of Global Tax Operations acting as an analyst for FATCA Group Request and act as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of Transaction Taxes Processing for our Zurich Uetlihof office
  • Responsibility for preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and analyzing client/transaction data to ensure timely and high-quality reporting for Swiss Stamp Duty Tax, Financial Transaction Tax France, Spain and Italy, capital gains tax and taxes on interest for Italy and Portugal
  • Investigating tax product and process-related questions in close collaboration with tax experts, reporting specialists, and data analysts
  • Continuously optimizing the processes and tools of FATCA Group Request to further enhance the data quality and process efficiency
  • Maintenance of tax regulations and applications

Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, apprenticeship in banking and 3+ years of experience, or equivalent further education in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 3 years practical experience in operations/back office in the financial industry
  • Knowledge of FATCA and operational taxes
  • Tax experience in banking, trading/transfers
  • Understanding of worldwide custodian concepts
  • Understanding of securities master data
  • Excellent problem-solving, conceptual, and analytical skills and a can-do attitude
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills for various stakeholders including management
  • Fluency in German and English (written and verbal)
