Main goal:

The mission of the Event Experience team is to create unforgettable fan experiences across UEFA’s club competitions and international tournaments. UEFA is taking a cutting-edge approach to event communications with an industry leading offering on their mobile apps and UEFA.com. The responsibility of creating and managing the content for these channels will rest with the Spectator Communications & Content Coordinator. This is an operational role for an individual with experience of a multi-channel communications campaign at international event level. The incumbent will be an avid copywriter and digitally savvy content creator, with an exceptional eye for detail to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of spectator messaging.

Key responsibilities:

* Leading on content planning and creations across operational matchday, mobility and fan zone communications;
* Working with internal and external stakeholders (local organising structure, host cities and venues) to collate relevant information for fans onsite;
* Writing engaging, creative and accurate copy according to UEFA style guides in an appropriate tone of voice;
* Editing and proofreading content for grammar, clarity, and consistency;
* Managing day-to-day content of UEFA’s mobile apps and UEFA.com, publishing all content via the CMS and keeping UEFA’s channels updated and accurate;
* Supporting dynamic communications on-site during the competitions/matches;
* Testing and monitoring app & web functionality and features;
* Working with designers and agencies to produce briefings for creative assets such as imagery, photography and videos;
* Liaising with agencies delivering translations and foreign language content;
* Assisting the Event Communications Specialist with additional projects.

Profile:

Experience required:
- from 1 to 3 years / Multi-channel communications experience in the sports or events industry
- from 1 to 3 years / Copywriting or content editing experience, ideally with an operational focus
- from 1 to 3 years / Digital content management experience

Education:
Bachelor in relevant field
Languages:
- English / fluent

- MS PowerPoint / advanced
- MS Project / advanced
- MS Word / advanced
- Project Management / advanced
- Good knowledge of mobile apps and websites, industry standards and best practices of digital content production
