Job Purpose:

We are looking for a talented professional with a balance of technical and business acumen who will be responsible for leading and managing projects and initiatives within Technology team in support of the EMEA Banking-Lending-Custody Business. A key component of the role is gathering, analyzing and synthesizing findings and project status to Senior stakeholders across the organization. Key project areas include driving digital engagement, enhancing operational risk management and reporting, and improving data analytics in support of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive a portfolio of projects and initiatives performing both project management and execution responsibilities and ongoing status reporting
  • Synthesize project milestones, risks, issues and dependencies to share with senior business and Technology stakeholders
  • Execute and facilitate status meetings with stakeholders to drive initiatives to completion
  • Implement and manage a communication strategy that highlights the value added of the work done by Technology for the Business via presentations, newsletters, weekly updates and blogs
  • Utilize, present and visualize metrics and KPIs to improve client experience, reduce risk and increase efficiencies
  • Develop strong working relationships and effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization (business and functions)
  • Act as a culture carrier for the organization fostering core values focused on continuous improvement, client service and enhancing the control environment

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years experience in financial services or consulting industry, with Private Banking Technology experience a plus
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up sleeves to ensure proper execution
  • Ability to effectively partner across the organization with senior management and business counterparts
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to multi task effectively in a high volume environment while maintaining adherence to deadlines and priorities
  • Self-motivated and directed, proactive and action-oriented, must demonstrate personal accountability

Key Required Competencies

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with large data sets, determining the key data points and being able to concisely summarize it for senior management.
  • Knowledgeable with creating dashboards/KPIs including using key industry tools such as SharePoint, QlikView, Tableau and others.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and package data and present findings for senior mgmt.
  • Strong knowledge of process flow diagramming and knowledge of relevant tools (e.g. Visio)
  • Strong expertise in both PowerPoint & Excel (Advanced)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience,
