Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for the position of Sr. Manager, Global Transportation Program Management to be located in Piscataway, NJ, Zug, Switzerland, or Beerse, Belgium.

As a member of the Global Transportation Strategy & Deployment team, this role will focus on strategic and operational project governance of global transportation programs and technology implementations that drive transformation of J&J supply chain movements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Overall Program Manager responsible for the implementation of a 4PL Global Transportation Control Tower encompassing over 2,500 unique lane pairs, 90,000 annual shipments over an 18-month implementation timeline
  • Responsible to manage a complex integrated project schedule across all workstreams & ensure adherence to delivering the on-time and on-budget execution of the implementation plans
  • Accountable for the leading the overall workstream governance including risk management, key updates, presentations, and issue resolution to a wide array of senior stakeholders and Global Deliver LT members
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a core project team along with many extended team members across the functional workstreams
  • Lead the overall program financial management and budget review cycles including Planisware updates related to implementation cost for capital/expenses, and ongoing running costs
  • Drive a high degree of standardization and accountability with a scalable model for the team to navigate through the various waves of implementation by prioritizing critical path activities and looking for ways to proactive accelerate upcoming tasks in parallel to further de-risk the implementation
  • Implement disciplined project management practices and execution to include FPX methodology, project prioritization, resource modeling, financials, and reporting.
  • Partner effectively with functional stakeholders, project sponsors, regions, Segment and Global Deliver leadership to ensure alignment to scope, timelines, and relevant updates throughout execution
  • Implement further standardization where possible for updates, risks, meetings, and day to day program activities for all relevant workstreams
  • Ensure SharePoint and other relevant internal & external platforms are managed effectively and in an organized manner for all necessary critical documents, project plans, stakeholder updates, and other presentation material
  • Ensure effective Project Management of all key strategic projects - with appropriate process controls, metrics, and stakeholder updates. Partner closely with Finance to ensure Financial planning and tracking is in place for all projects.
  • Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality, and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfy outcomes.
  • Create and deliver presentations to PMO/Management on project goals, plans, issues and risks, including progress reports, mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Develop and revise project plans, work with stakeholders to understand complex problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to meet timelines.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required with an MBA or other Master’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years’ of relevant, professional experience is required
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization is required Multi-sector experience is preferred
  • Project Management experience is required, Certified Project Management qualification - FPX, PMI etc. is preferred
  • Robust experience leading global cross-functional projects or programs
  • Process improvement framework (Six Sigma, Lean) is preferred
  • Expertise across core global transportation or distribution and carrier/3PL management processes, contracts, and relationships is preferred
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the end to end supply chain is required
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing and collaboration within and across organizations, globally and at all organizational levels
  • Big picture orientation with ability to represent broader supply chain thinking
  • Advanced level of expertise in PowerPoint and execution of presentation to stakeholders is required
  • This position is located in Piscataway, NJ, Zug, Switzerland, or Beerse, Belgium and may require up to 10% of travel both internationally and domestically.
