Overall responsibilities

The Sr. Manager Strategy Deployment & Execution will provide strategic support to the Swiss MD Leadership Team in a variety of areas spanning across franchises and the portfolio of solutions and capabilities with a strong focus on strategic project execution. This candidate must understand and integrate Global, EMEA and Local Swiss Medical Devices strategy, drive strategic alignment and support the execution and acceleration of the Swiss MD Strategic roadmap and generating growth. The candidate must feel comfortable working in a dynamic and high pace environment, able to support cross-Medical Device initiatives keeping the customer interest in the centre of all actions with a entrepreneurial and solution oriented mindset.

Sr. Manager Strategy Deployment & Execution (80-100%) (f/m/d)

Main areas of responsibility / expected results/objectives of the role
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to the MD Leadership Team in shaping strategies, engagement models and fostering execution excellence to drive business growth and innovation in pursuit of the long-term business strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate strategic cross-functional initiatives and transformational programs, as appropriate. Establish appropriate KPI’s. Takes an active role in facilitating discussions towards clear outcomes, decisions and accountabilities. Defines and monitors progress against the aligned goals. This includes transformational strategic projects in collaboration with strategic customers.
  • Scale-up successful initiatives, piloted by some Business Units, across the entire MD business, aiming to accelerate the overall execution phase.
  • Drive alignment and collaboration on shared objectives across Franchises, Strategic Solutions, Supply Chain, Information technology and all other functional partners by setting-up alignment platforms and governance
  • Identify and assess new incoming cross-MD initiatives including strategic fit, ownership, connection to other initiatives and various stakeholders, resources required. With minimal guidance, translates big ideas into tangible outcomes, approaches and solutions in partnership with the MD Franchise and Strategic Solutions Teams
  • Drive agile execution across MD by infusing project management best practices and design thinking principles
  • Accelerate best practice and info sharing across MD through appropriate channels and communication platforms

Qualifications

Extensive senior leadership experience (5-10 years) within the Medical Device space. (Experience of sales or marketing, Service and Solutions preferred)

Education & Experience Required
  • University degree
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing (service and solutions preferable although not required)
  • Experience in Project Management, and/or
  • Experience in Strategic Account Management, and/or
  • Experience in Change management, and/or
  • Experience in Process Excellence, and/or
  • Experience in managing complex teams
  • German: preferred
  • English:Business fluent
  • French:preferred
