Within our Product Portfolio Management & Deployment function, we are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join the team in Switzerland, Lausanne.

In this position you will

Lead projects to optimise the product performance of Nicotine Containing Products (NCP) after commercial launch. The job requires detailed problem solving to find the root cause of a problem, strong leadership to build cross functional consensus and structed project management to implement the solution.

Key tasks include but are not limited to

Lead and execute projects to optimise either the process and/or the product for our RRP portfolio using data-driven analytical techniques

Become an expert in the interaction between the final product and the complete manufacturing process to be able to give technical leadership to the organization

Develop a specialism from product functionality, liquid handling and dosing, manufacturing, aerosol chemistry or packaging and represent the team in deep technical discussion with other cross-functional experts.

Present and defend projects to partners and management

Collaborate with internal partners including manufacturing centers, suppliers and other external partners.

We are looking for someone with

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering or similar qualification.

Inquisitive nature and a hands-on approach to working. A key point is that the successful candidate must be excited to work in the manufacturing environment and the lab

Experience in working in a multi-national, multi-disciplinary environment

Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously to solve complex problems

Proven experience of project management and indirect leadership
