Sr. Specialist Quality InsightsThe Sr. Specialist Quality Insights is responsible for analyzing Quality and Business Performance information, data and metrics information for the Quality organization. This includes extracting performance indicating data from systems used by the Quality teams, visualizing and analyzing the data, and preparing data reports. They assist in the preparation of Quality Management Review, periodic Quality metric and performance reporting, and Reliability data analysis and reporting. In addition, they will identify trends and patterns in the data, analyze causality and formulate improvement proposals and (supports to) drive proactive quality, continues improvement and cost awareness. Collaborates with site teams, global groups and leadership teams to mine data and to communicate their metric insights and trends, and translates these insights together with partners into actionable improvements.
They own the Cost of Quality (CoQ) model and program, and the value creation from the CoQ data in investment and quality decisions in connection with the overall Quality and Business Performance Management.
The Sr. Specialist Quality Insights is the CapGemini account owner, the Quality external partner for outsourced document management and reporting preparation (PR/PQR and CPV). They manage and support the account actively to ensure high-quality and cost-effective output, and a continuous drive to automation and improvement.
Principal Responsibilities
The Sr. Specialist Quality Insights is responsible for analyzing Quality and Business Performance information, data and metrics information for the JSC Quality organization.
- Data extraction of performance indicating data from systems
- Data visualizing and analyzing the data
- Preparing data reports (QSMR, Cost of Quality, Tier 4/5)
- Manage and support the account actively to ensure high-quality and cost-effective output
- Continuously drive to automation and improvement
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other scientific field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Solid understanding of data systems, data visualization and data analytics (statistics, modeling techniques)
- profound experience with Microsoft environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- outstanding problem-solving and collaboration skills to identify and evaluate problems or opportunities based on data, and to formulate findings and proposals in written and oral form
- Ability to efficiently communicate throughout the different levels of the organization and to drive global improvements
- Broad and sound experience with Pharmaceutical Quality Systems (e.g. Trackwise) and reporting/visualization software (e.g. Tableau)
- Sound experience in translating and presenting technical data and metrics-related insights and strategies across all levels of the organization is essential for this role. Handling multiple priorities, maintaining confidentiality, and operating with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, matrixed and constantly evolving environment
- Solid understanding of quality processes (batch release, investigations, complaints, audit and inspection management, training) and related systems such as TrackWise, eLIMS.
- Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to draft, align, and drive structured technical writing
- Fluent English verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Business acumen.
- Experience and knowledge of advanced analytical tools and software (Python, R) and the MS AZURE environment is preferred
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik), statistics, data trending and MS Office environment is required. In depth knowledge of Tableau.
- Financial savvy, intuition for business, and experience in data analytics (eg. Python, R) tools and methodology
- Knowledge of the business environment inside a quality and supply chain organization across various roles (e.g., Quality operations, Quality Systems, Manufacturing, Technical Operations)
