Your ‘day to day’

As a (Sr) Statistician AQP, you will support the Advanced Quality Planning team by conducting statistical analyses in the context of product and process development of new and innovative products. You will also be tasked with the design of experiment definition and the generation of related documentation. Furthermore, you will apply standard principles recognized by regulatory and quality requirement such as ISO and ICH in order to generate testing plans and reports.

More specifically, you will
  • Develop and implement good statistical practices and reporting in the context of product and process development
  • Cooperate with product and process designers to establish and conduct lean Design of Experiments in order to characterize correlations between key parameters for specification creation
  • Review stability study designs and assess stability studies results according to recognized international regulations such as ICH and come up with recommendations
  • Establish product specifications based on statistical evaluation of data from batch-to-batch variability
  • Train scientists and engineers on statistics and make presentation of statistical evaluations and results to Senior Management
  • Explore new alternatives, technologies and/or tools to expand data manipulation and statistical analysis approaches to support the data-driven decision-making process
  • Assist to put new insights into productive data-analytics solutions and services
Who we’re looking for
  • University degree in Statistics and/or Master’s degree in Statistics, Sciences or Engineering with a strong background in statistics
  • Experience in analyzing, processing, and extracting value from noisy large data sets
  • Deep statistical knowledge and sophisticated methodologies in a broad range of applications and study designs
  • Advance technical knowledge in statistical programming languages, such as, R and SAS is a must. Other statistical software (e.g., JMP, Minitab) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) are desirable
  • Good knowledge of stability studies and associated directives such as ICH as well as of GxPs (e.g. GLP and GMP)
  • Ability to translate data into insights as well as to communicate in a clear and concise manner to a non-scientific audience
  • Good data visualization skills, to translate customers’ needs into relevant outputs
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest and capability of training others
  • Ability to complete outputs on time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and leadership skills, working both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
