We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to join our cross-functional team to work on technology development, from initial concepts up to prototypes demonstrated in flight.
You will oversee the R&D project activities working on Fuel Cells, Hydrogen Gas Turbines or Hybrid Systems. You are expected to contribute to system architecture definitions, trade-off analyses, system modeling and simulations, and performance assessment.
Tasks
Position Responsibilities
- System architecture definition for complex power and propulsion systems. Requirement management.
- Close collaboration with subject matter experts on architecture definition, systems, and component engineering, providing system
- Definition and planning of system development, leading design reviews.
- Customer interaction and project engineering activities in close collaboration with project manager.
- Performing functional hazard assessment, system safety assessment, common cause analyses.
- Supervising preparation of Validation and Verification plans.
- Participation on preparation of system test procedures and acceptance test procedures.
- Preparing tasks for colleagues and integrate their results into your system development.
Qualification
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant engineering domain
- 5+ years of multidisciplinary or complex system engineering experience.
- Good command of English language
- Due to Export Controls restrictions EU nationality required
- Demonstrated experience with gas turbines or fuel cells or high-power electronics
- Aerospace experience
