We are looking for a Middleware Architect to work with our expert Middleware team of 40+ employees across the world. Do you have a passion for Middleware? Then we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Shape and design Middleware architecture to meet organisational needs ensuring architectural principals and standards are adhered to
  • Work with Business and Technology leaders, Enterprise Architects, and wider technical teams to implement sound solutions to support business needs
  • Perform complex analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to produce architectural designs, documentation and POC projects
  • Participate as an SME on the Architecture Review Board to review technical design and deliverables for the Middleware team to meet business objectives
  • Be a hands-on integration expert offering support, guidance, and facilitate training for the wider Middleware team
  • Become an advocate and key contributor to the creation of a methodology for design and delivery that facilitates API Management, process automation, testing, common frameworks, and delivery methodologies
  • In collaboration with the Architect team, develop and communicate design standards, patterns and reusable frameworks that allows development to be efficient and current
  • Inform and maintain the Middleware roadmap to meet business objectives
  • Work with technology teams and suppliers to ensure Middleware platforms remains current, up-to date and secure
  • Be an advocate for emerging middleware technologies, new ways of working and model a continuous improvement mindset
Who You Are
  • Currently hold the same or similar role and have the necessary experience, knowledge of industry and expertise to compliment this post
  • An advocate for SaaS Middleware technology, specifically Dell Boomi with experience of Integrate, B2B, API Management, Master Data Management and Flow
  • A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science of Information Technology or equivalent industry experience
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in this technical area
  • Hold or be willing to work towards Boomi Professional Architect Certification
  • Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout the domain
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
  • Analytical thinker, problem solver and domain expert who is committed to continuous professional development
  • Can work well under pressure and can resolve complex problems while communicating with key technology teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Strong team player who collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources while underpinned with the ability to articulate appropriately pitched solutions for a varying target audience
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems and applications (CRM, SFA, ERP)
  • Proven track record of exemplary development using SQL, Java, JSON, XML, EDI, AS2, API Development (SOAP and REST), Message Queues, and Cloud (AWS and Azure)
  • Experience and understanding of CI/CD tools and methodologies demonstrated through implementation
  • Ability to architect end-to-end solutions in collaboration with a range of SME’s
  • Experienced in authoring technical content, standards, and strategy
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and make judgements on competing priorities
