Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland

What you do
  • Structural Analysis – Classical static Stress Analysis & Finite Element Analysis of composite and metallic airframe structure in both a development and certification oriented environment
  • Preparation of formal structural analysis reports, test plans and test reports
  • Support and evaluation of strength test (coupon, component, full scale etc..) on composite structures and support of qualification testing
  • Cross functional analytical support, internal liaison and potential for direct liaison/support with external supplier companies and the airworthiness authorities
What you bring
  • University degree with at least 5 years of experience in Stress Analysis specifically in the Aerospace sector
  • 2+ years postgraduate experience in analyses and certification of composite structural components in the Aerospace sector
  • Experience of deploying classical hand calculation methodologies and utilizing industry standard reference sources
  • Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP or similar Finite Element packages
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Mathcad and CS 23 would be advantageous
