Position Overview

Our portfolio of pulmonary arterial hypertension PAH treatments covers the spectrum of the disease, with oral, inhaled, and intravenous medications.

We are currently in search of a Statistician- Real World Evidence (RWE) to join our team, which supports our research in the Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) therapeutic area.

The Statistician will provide all statistical services for an ongoing RWE study, including the analysis, interpretation, design, and reporting and communication of data evidence.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • This is an exciting and challenging role for a candidate who wants to gain experience in the conduct of RWE studies, indirect comparisons, and the application of causal inference statistics as well as interactions with health authorities
  • Advanced statistical expertise is essential to this role, as is the eagerness to learn the underlying science leading to successful program support
  • In addition, you are a good communicator that can relay complex ideas to cross-functional teams and are able to work independently in interdisciplinary contexts outside statistics
  • Furthermore, you have a basic understanding of drug development and a strong interest in applying innovative statistical approaches to rare diseases in the PH therapeutic area
  • Complies with organization and company standard operating procedures in timely fashion, such as training and project time accounting
  • Documents projects in sufficient detail for reproducibility
  • contributes high quality and timely deliverables as assessed by stakeholders such as the project team
  • Contributes to knowledge sharing among statisticians and with internal partners

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Statistics or related field plus 2 years minimum relevant experience
  • Proficiency in R or SAS programming
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary contexts outside statistics is required
  • Eagerness to continuously learn about the relevant underlying science and to expand statistical expertise
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Fluency in English
