To support the the procurement division, we are looking for an ambitious Strategic Purchaser for an international active Swiss manufacturing company based in Lucerne, either immediately or by agreement.Strategic PurchaserKey Responsibilities
  • Strategic further development of the international supplier portfolio
  • Ensuring a smooth procurement process (procurement market analysis, tendering, contract conclusion up to industrialization at the supplier)
  • Carry out contract negotiations with suppliers independently and prepare them ready for decision ("contract holder" to the supplier)
  • Assumption of responsibility for other sub-projects in the supply chain
  • Continuous optimization of the purchasing process as well as the methods and tools in strategic purchasing
Key Requirements
  • Business or technical studies, ideally industrial engineering or a comparable education with technical experience
  • Several years of experience in strategic purchasing
  • Practical experience in project management
  • Experienced handling of MS Office and SAP R3/S4 (MM)
  • International experience in the sourcing environment
  • Business fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
