You will work closely with senior management and drive strategic projects derived from the newly developed Strategy 2025 – specifically for our Business Unit: Building Technologies. Working in interdisciplinary teams around the globe and driving complex projects gets you excited. While you are deadline-driven, you are able to convince stakeholders with pragmatic solutions to move them into action and execute recommendations. The solutions based on information turned into meaningful insights are developed collaboratively but build on you as an independent thinker. With your work, you will be part of the drivers crafting the next level of GF Piping Systems, Business Unit Building Technologies.

Your Tasks
  • Lead and manage key global strategic priorities/ initiatives derived from Strategy 2025 for BU BT
  • Work closely with the Head of Business Unit Building Technologies to drive strategy and implementation
  • Work with country Managing Directors and Sales teams to ensure traction of growth plans
  • Work with product management and production plants to drive operational excellence
  • Gather data and information to derive meaningful insights contributing to the solution development
  • Collaboratively manage project teams consisting of local management, key experts, and other relevant people across the organization
  • Actively support the GFPS Strategy team and BU BT management, also in ad-hoc requests
  • Support management in M&A projects as needed
Your Profile
  • 2 - 6 years of prior relevant work experience, in corporate strategy functions: functional expertise in sales and operations is a plus
  • Ability to quickly assess complex problems, structure logically, and provide rational recommendations
  • Experience with strategic development, business development within an industrial company, and some experience in corporate finance
  • Strong skills in project management, stakeholder management, and market research and analysis
  • Ability to quickly establish a network on all levels
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • High motivation, maturity, endless curiosity, and personal initiative
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
