Roche Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED) translates extraordinary science into medical innovation through a diversity of technologies and talent located across seven research sites worldwide. We deliver on individual patient needs through a deep understanding of disease biology and the implementation of Personalized Healthcare strategies.

The organization of Bioanalytical R&D within pRED supports molecules of all therapeutic modalities and disease indications from entry into portfolio up to launch and on the market with innovative technological and regulatory solutions. With the innovative pRED and late stage portfolio, we aim to pioneer new ways of bioanalytical work to support fast and successful filing of our compounds. We recognize that we constantly need to adapt and improve the way we work to be able to deliver “what patients need next”


In this position, you will

  • Learn how to develop LC-MS/MS methods for quantitation of small molecule drugs in biological matrices

  • Apply analytical methods to biological study samples (preclinical and clinical) and deliver high quality data in line with departmental/project timelines.

  • Be part of a team under the supervision of a laboratory head and the guidance of the team members

  • Be exposed to state of the art laboratory and analytical equipment as well as technologies such as ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (uHPLC), triple quadrupole, Q-Traps and High Resolution mass spectrometers and robotic sample processors


Who you areYou are an ambitious master`s student who is currently enrolled in life sciences (preferably in the area of molecular life science or analytical chemistry) or in a gap year between degrees.


Moreover, you are

  • Ideally experienced in the practical application of chromatographic- mass spectrometric analytical methods

  • A person who works systematically and precisely and brings a high level of initiative as well as a dedicated attitude

  • A proactive and transparent team worker

  • Proficient in English (German is a plus)
