Global Supply Chain Resilience Leader

Ethicon Biosurgery is recruiting for a SC Resilience Leader, located in Raritan (NJ), Zug or Neuchatel (Switzerland), San Lorenzo (PR) or Nes Ziona (Israel).

The Resilience Leader enables change by partnering with other functions to root cause and improve systemic issues that influence supply reliability. You will develop and advance innovation-centric programs to step change capability which address infrastructure limitations and inefficiencies. Selected initiatives must catalyze value creation across mid-long-term horizons and will require close engagement with Global External Operations, Internal sites & Value Stream Leaders (VSL’s). You are encouraged to learn about the portfolio and influence product development and lifecycle management decisions in-line with Biosurgery strategic roadmap with the goal of optimizing the reliability & cost to serve. You will be part of the Ethicon Biosurgery SC LT and will lead communications at different levels, incl. Commercial & R&D.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution for global, multi-workstream, cross-functional programs to improve and mature processes, capabilities & systems that enable supply reliability
  • Develop and deploy a multi-generational Resilience Strategy to continuously reduce service vulnerability
  • Enhance our digital and sustainability impact
  • Connect across industry and enterprise level to identify and develop innovative solutions and novel approaches for solving ongoing supply chain challenges
  • Lead supply chain alignment for JJOS adoption and evolution
  • You are able to lead change in coordination with VSL’s and Project Management teams
  • Collaborates with Reg affairs when it comes to managing future risks and the mitigation of those
  • Implement, analyze, report, and maintain metrics and dashboards to ensure efficiency and value to the business
  • Champion a productive environment, balance multiple assignments, and display flexibility in response to rapidly shifting priorities

Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Life Science, Physical Science or Engineering required, Master’s Degree in related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of meaningful experience in relevant supply chain functions such as Procurement, Planning, Partner Development, Risk and Reliability, Supplier Management and/or Operations in related industries
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships and effective communication internally and externally are a must for this position
  • Experience improving processes while delivering results successfully through global organizational change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence to make sophisticated situations clear and easily understood
  • Functional experience in externally facing proficiencies [i.e., Supplier Relationship Management, negotiation, influencing without authority]
  • Strong relationship development, conflict resolution, and team building instincts, with the ability to build partnerships both internally and externally
  • Solid financial acumen and Value Measurement. Understanding of financial processes such as business case development
  • This position may require some flexibility to adapt to the different time zones and up to 20% (international/domestic) travel
  • Strong background in Process Excellence, Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, or operational excellence
