What It’s AboutIn this position you are an integral part of Partners Group’s high-performing fundraising team covering Germany and Austria (one of the firm’s largest fundraising markets) with a special focus on covering mandate clients. One of Partners Group’s key client offerings are bespoke solutions which offer clients a tailor made relationship approach.In Your Role, Your Primary Tasks Will Include
  • Independently support mandate specialists and front marketers with the preparation for client meetings and due diligence sessions including compiling convincing bespoke high-quality marketing presentations and investment proposals as well as coordination of internal parties
  • Creating tailored, persuasive and high-quality responses to client requests, assisting with queries and performance updates
  • Acting as a first point of contact for mandate clients by coordinating and liaising with various teams and specialists within the firm (including the coordination of veto processes for investment decisions)
  • Providing convincing and well-justified inputs to request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Supporting the onboarding process for clients, which involves liaising with both internal and external counterparties
  • Become an expert in private markets and Partners Group’s platform, products, separately managed accounts and investment strategies across asset classes
What We ExpectThe successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry, ideally gained within either private markets, asset / fund management or investment banking / strategy consulting.Key Attributes Will Include
  • Undergraduate university degree
  • German native as well as excellent skills in both spoken and written English
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in (institutional) sales, investor relations, private banking, asset management, private equity, strategy consulting or investment banking
  • Confident and comfortable communicating with teams and individuals across all levels
  • Ability to take full ownership and responsibility by showing strong project management skills while driving different processes at the same time
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Proactive hands on approach
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solving with a client-focused mindset and willingness to work towards tight deadlines in a challenging environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of private markets is an advantage
