Job purpose

The purpose of this role to support the Marketing team and to gather new experience in the medical devices industry. We are offering a traineeship for 6 months (start date mid-January).

The trainee will complete the following projects as part of her/his internship within Edwards:
  • Support the Marketing Manager with local national congresses, marketing claims matrix, tools design and re-approvals, support the update of European and local websites
  • Support the EU & France Product Manager on INSPIRIS-related activities: marketing tools update and approvals, support of local events, coordination with sales teams
Key Responsibilities

Medical-based Marketing

Support The EU Marketing Manager On
  • Updating the existing core repair portfolio claim matrix, working on approvals and implementation of the claims:
    • By updating and approving the EU Repair websites, supporting ITA, GER and SPA in the implementation at country level
    • By updating, designing, and approving core portfolio tools
  • Coordinating the projects with relevant Surgical marketing teams and Surgical stakeholders
Marketing Campaigns

Support The FR Product Manager On
  • The INSPIRIS awareness campaign towards General Cardiologists (digital assets creation and monitoring of the media plan)
  • The local integrated marketing campaign with Cardiac Surgeons
  • The MITRIS prelaunch campaign in France (ensuring readiness of marketing materials for campaign kick-offs)
Support Congresses & Events

Support and work in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager on congresses and internal events

Education And Skills
  • Currently a university student (Bachelor‘s or Master‘s degree) or a very fresh graduate
  • Fluent in English, other European language is a plus (French or German preferred)
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Internet)
  • Strong motivation to work in the medical devices industry and marketing
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, result and detail oriented
  • Ability to build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders (especially sales & marketing teams in Europe & US)
  • Ability to work with a certain degree of autonomy
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
