The Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMA) Marketing Manager for Surgical Vision, part of J&J MedTech, ensures the tactical execution of the company marketing strategy. This person develops advertising plans to support the marketing plan, identifies appropriate vehicles and messages, and works with appropriate management to convey needs and image of the company. The CEMA Marketing Manager ensures successful event planning and management to showcase products, cultivate relationships, and creates awareness.
- Implement and align the CEMA strategies and tactical marketing activities with the EMEA marketing plans
- Assess, define, recommend and rollout process to effectively deploy marketing materials and campaigns to CEMA for all surgical product lines
- Develop marketing materials to meet unique CEMA needs in consultation and alignment with EMEA marketing
- Conduct market analysis and support demand forecasting for all promoted surgical lines with Hub Managers and Commercial Excellence Manager
- Aggregate Hub Managers analysis of professional and consumer trends and provide recommendations on follow up
- Build close relationships with national KOLs to increase share of voice to support product messaging and build a strong referral base
- Participate in CEMA sales / marketing meetings and major tradeshows
- Align with regional director and regulatory CEMA regulatory priorities
- Collaborate with EMEA Scientific Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Excellence and Business Development, commercial team, sales support team to develop relevant approaches and take on additional cross-functional projects as needed
- Develop and execute launch plans for new products with Hub Managers and with Commercial Excellence Manager
- Refine sales messages and sales materials, such as brochures, presentation decks and others, and be in charge of providing speaker kits to KOLs to drive share of voice
- Work closely with CEMA Hub Managers and Training Dpt to ensure consistent product knowledge, messaging and execution across markets
- Plan and implement customer events in cooperation with Professional Education & Communication team
- Organize and plan in conjunction with Hub Managers and Distributors national and local congresses across CEMA markets
- Develop and grow young ophthalmologists into Johnson and Johnson Vision Surgical KOLs.
- Graduated preferably in science, business administration or engineering. MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry Marketing experience at management level in highly complex business environment, preferred Medical Device Industry
- Fluent written and spoken English, additional European language skills of advantage
