In this particular role you are responsible to implement proactive risk management approach for sustainability related risk to analyse physical & transitional risk analytics for resiliency planning and business stakeholder decision making support.
You will use sustainability related risk expertise, modelling solutions, combine expertise/data analytics to collaborate with business experts on decision making in respect to infrastructure investments, sourcing locations for products/raw materials taking a near/long term perspectives and warming scenarios.
You will utilise the toolsets to link to financial risk exposure for insurance management.
Maintain up to date intelligence & analytics to provide predictive scenarios on strategic & site-specific level.
Provide sustainability related risk data & insights to support IKEA direction & strategy.

About you

More specifically, in this role you will be responsible to:

Support the development of the business by creating and managing Sustainability related Risk Management Process, tools and data sets providing a real time view of sustainability related risks.

Provide project-based climate risk analytics for key projects and provide strategic climate risk guidance to protect the assets and future investments of Inter IKEA Group from a physical and transitional risk perspective.

Support or lead social and environmental risk impact assessment for all significant infrastructure, raw material sourcing decisions and restoration/regeneration initiatives.

Conduct own climate-related risk assessments and its impact on business, people and planet to highlight global and local hotspots across the IKEA value chain to not only brief but also trigger needed strategic or operational decisions.

Develop the sustainability related risk analytics processes to ensure latest technology and data sets are used, as well as alignment with external frameworks such as Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures.

Perform stochastic modeling of climate, weather, people and business-related sustainability related risk data.

Collaborate with Sustainability and Risk and Compliance matrices to lead development of intelligence and risk regarding sustainability, with focus on biodiversity, climate, human rights, pollution and water.

Qualifications

To be in successful in this role you need to have the ability to:

Understand of the IKEA core businesses and IKEA culture

Understand of sustainability related risks analysis and how this can be applied to IKEA business processes and business decision making.

Translate methodology and reporting standards connected to sustainability related risks to long term solution.

Work with external parties and co-sourcing arrangements.

Demonstrate leadership & facilitation skills.

Strong presentation, collaboration and communication skills

Have a passion for people, planet and society.
