Function/Position objectives

Responsibilities
  • Sector responsibility for identifying, analysing and quantifying material sustainability aspects.
  • Writing company notes and thematic publications to better inform investment decisions and demonstrate thought-leadership. Presenting research insights at internal and external events, conferences and client meetings.
  • Support and further advance ESG integration in equity and fixed income funds and mandates in close collaboration with our investment teams.
  • Further refine our climate transition strategy under the net-zero pledge, reflecting state-of-the art methodologies and a science-based approach.
  • Enable the creation of sustainable investment tools such as data extraction, materiality analysis, investment universe definition, impact measurement, ESG reporting, etc.
  • Interacting with teams and stakeholders across the firm to integrate sustainability issues into research, investment, advisory and reporting processes.
  • Innovation and ideation in the sustainability and impact space to keep up with the dynamic market developments and maintain our leadership position in the field.
Profiles
  • University degree in a relevant field for sustainability, coupled with a CFA or equivalent financial degree.
  • At least three years of working experience in sustainable investments.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG data and research methodologies in general. In-depth experience with sustainability and climate-related frameworks and tools such as SBTi, TCFD, PRI, etc.
  • Specialist knowledge in particular sectors or fields linked to sustainability (e.g. biodiversity) is an additional asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Very good command in English. Fluency in German and French is a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Basic SQL, Excel Power Query or Python skills are a plus.
