Position Summary

As a System Performance & Coffee Engineering Intern, you will be defining a robust system design in order to deliver the best in cup quality. You will have to work within the system interaction team in Nestlé System Technology Centre (NSTC) who is in charge of the functional design for Nestlé system, portioned and none portioned. You will have to run Design Of Experiment to define influencing and optimum parameters link to the different areas of the system, understand interactions and define the key functional parts.

A Day in the Life of a System Performance & Coffee Engineering Intern
  • Prepare the design of an experiment in the area of System Performance using personal and institutional knowledge
  • Conduct research on the topic - including scientific litterature review - to present a viable project, taking into account context, requirements and innovation needs
  • Definition of best test methodology to be used and perform defined tests within
  • Provide the collected data, report results in dedicated files or in data acquisition systems by using computers and summarize results for decision making
  • Prepare, write and present a final report of the project

What Will Make You Successful
  • Currently studying a degree in Food Science, Material Science, Engineering, or similar
  • Good understanding of correlation between product, machine and packaging
  • Previous experience with lab activity and/or data analysis, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Fluent in English, French an asset
