Hitachi Energy, Division Grid Automation - Telecommunication Systems is a provider of communication systems with the highest requirements in terms of availability and security for operational and administrative communication. Strengthen our engineering & testing team in Baden with professional knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering. If you combine convincing specialist knowledge with communication skills and team spirit, then come to us as a system tester for telecommunications systems.

Your responsibilities

• Applying your know-how within this field, you will program, and test project-specific systems installed at our Baden plant for the purpose of factory testing
• Additionally, you will conduct extensive tests on state-of-the-art telecommunications systems and will compile the various results for the purpose of preparing customer documentation
• Working in close cooperation with system engineers and project managers, you will be responsible for the inspection and release of systems for international customers
• Furthermore, you will be expected to extend and apply your skills to the following areas: multiplexer (MUX), fibre-optic networks (SDH), carrier frequency for high-voltage lines (DPLC), remote access technology, private branch exchanges (PABX), Voice-over-IP applications (VoIP) and network management systems (NMS)
• Finally, you will work in close collaboration with staff members of our international clients

Your background

• This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-calibre professional with qualifications in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, preferably complemented by a proven track record as a System Tester
• Good knowledge of German and English
• As a flexible team player, you will be keen to acquire new skills on a continual basis, as well as relishing the opportunity to apply your expertise within an international and multicultural environment
