Tableau Developer vacancy requiring profound Tableau knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.Your Tasks
  • Being responsible for the development and improvements of Tableau Dashboards based on user requirements from different teams and departments
  • Cooperating with the data team on data preparation and integration requirements for Tableau dashboards
  • Coming up with creative and impactful solutions by understanding user reporting pain points and employing visualization best practices
  • Acting as subject matter expert on all topics related to Tableau Desktop and stay up to date on upcoming new features
  • Providing technical support on Tableau Desktop to analysts in other business areas
Your Experience/knowledge
  • 5+ years of work experience as Developer including minimum of 1 year with Tableau
  • Outstanding Tableau Desktop skills paired with a good understanding of Datamodelling and Tableau server including maintenance and upgrades
  • Expertise with using numerous data sources with Tableau, focusing on SQL Server, Cube, Excel and other
  • Strong understanding of Detail, dashboard actions, table calculations and being comfortable optimizing calculations for performance
  • Solid know-how of SQL and the capability to manipulate and transform data along with Excellent stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
  • Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German conversational
