As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you role will be to source talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure that the talent acquisition team is regarded as a credible centre of acting a trusted business partner to employees. You will continuously seek new capabilities that increase Talent Acquisition team’s productivity, fosters hiring team expertise, and enhances the candidate experience

Main responsibilities
  • Work on end to end talent acquisition life cycle management – from the time a job is confirmed to the job offer to the candidate (incl. sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, facilitate the offer process, post-offer). Duties include:
    • To liaise with the hiring manager to understand the role profile and vacancy requirements in order to match candidates against this;
    • To proactively plan and manage recruitment activities for vacancies including:
      • Gain agreement and buy-in from process stakeholders on recruitment strategy for the vacancy;
      • Manage attraction campaigns and candidate sourcing;
      • Manage short-listing of applicants;
      • Carry out skills and personality testing;
      • Coordinate and lead panel interviews;
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure a successful candidate experience and delivery of high quality recruitment service.
  • Partner closely with TM to create training material for Hiring managers to provide them with recruitment and Competency based Interview techniques
  • Gain an understanding of the organisation’s needs and priorities to implement the talent acquisition strategy, to improve recruitment and increase talent retention
  • Advise on recruiting tactics and sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
  • Protect, develop and promote the IOC brand through prompt and courteous verbal, written and electronic communication with all applicants, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Provide accurate, up to date recruitment dashboard, develop and manage metrics to measure the growth and performance of the talent acquisition team and identify areas of improvement, trends, capacity gaps, etc.
  • Communicate with external sources, i.e. peer organisations to acknowledge any trends in recruitment and markets
  • Innovate and Monitor hiring practices and market trends to ensure our strategy is up to date
  • Strengthen relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement
  • Work closely with HTM (Head of Talent Management) to understand the diversity and inclusion goals of the organization and develop a talent acquisition road map to meet those goals.
  • Act as an ambassador for IOC by ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience
  • Develop and implement effective approach to talent pipelines, with a focus on hard to fill and technical roles
  • Lead employer branding initiatives
  • Assist HTM to develop internal recruitment, secondment and employee retention strategies
  • Ensure careers page of IOC website is maintained and updated regularly

Our requirements
  • Previous experience of managing the full recruitment cycle for vacancies within an in-house HR management area, dealing with a range of roles across various disciplines and levels in an international environment;
  • Experience of working to performance and process KPI’s and within a fast-paced environment;
  • Fluent in English and a strong command of French.
  • Contribute to the development/design of HR strategic initiatives, managing small projects and implementing HR initiatives;
  • University degree and proven 5-7 years’ experience in recruitment.
  • Well-developed knowledge of “sourcing” techniques, especially social media and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent relational capacity combined with recognised communications and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic person with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English and French.
  • Advanced knowledge and command of social networks as well as MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with managing team work, both in terms of managing the flow of files, processes and procedures, and in communicating with colleagues.
