Exnaton is a spinoff company of ETH Zurich which offers software for renewable energy to energy companies. Our software enables energy providers to set up energy communities in their distribution areas. Users of our software can track their energy consumption and ´ buy renewable energy from their neighbors, which makes investing in the energy transition simple and fun! Our software processes smart meter data and computes smart real-time prices for locally produced energy which make renewable energy financially more attractive. End-users receive an app that maps the sources of their energy, making their electricity consumption more understandable.

Our team consists of a diverse mix of engineers and business developers and we are all motivated to use technology to create a sustainable impact in our society. Our company will be growing in the next months and we are looking for motivated and passionate people to complement our team.

Tasks

In our team, each and every team member is contributing to the positive development of our company. As part of our operations team, you enable and support our team in delivering excellence and professionalism while working across many different workstreams, with a diverse spectrum of internal as well as external stakeholders. You will directly collaborate with our co-founders and your tasks will cover different areas - it will not get boring:

Team Assistance

• Coordinate meetings
• Manage calendars & email accounts
• Plan and book trips, prepare events
• Active outreach for networking meetings
• HR
• Screen applications and identify most promising candidates
• Write and publish job postings
• Accounting Support
• Manage physical and digital documentation
• Manage expenses
• Make bookings in accounting software
• Prepare payroll accounting

Requirements

We define ourselves by a culture of ownership and cooperation. We are looking for driven, capable, visionary and prudent talents with proven track records of personal, professional and academic achievement.

• You have already worked in a similar role within a dynamic environment for at least 3 years
• You have some experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally a StartUp
• You have excellent communication verbal and written English and German (required) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams;
• A BSc in business, environmental or social sciences is a plus, but not a necessity.
