All about the role

As our Team Lead Account Management you are responsible for a team of Account Managers, you identify new business opportunities, define work processes and enable execution of all operational duties (ensure OKR achievements, support roll out of new tools).

By building and growing a high-performing team, you’re able to enhance the customer experience delivered by restaurants, drive loyalty, brand advocacy and visibility on a national scale. You’ll also ensure that local processes and ways of working are consistently and effectively implemented.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Managers spread across Switzerland

  • You join your Account Managers in the field in their respective region to coach them

  • Supervision of daily/weekly activities and results by ensuring that your team members have all the necessary information to give our Restaurant Partners the best recommendations

  • Coordination with other Account Management Team Leads, nationally and internationally, and other Team Leads of other departments/Sales divisions

  • Team development; you organize team trainings and coach your direct reports based on individual needs

  • Conduct performance reviews & appraisals, individual training, recruitment of new staff (if required)Initiate, build and develop strong relationships with the restaurant estate

  • Run projects for new tools or improved services as project lead with international collaborations

  • Support the Head of Account Management in various strategies and operational topics

  • Provide insights to the business by conducting competitor research and analysis, reporting your findings to give us a competitive edge on partner availability & supply

  • Promote Just Eat Takeaway.com’s brand name and its services to partners

  • You lead by example


Can you deliver
  • You have demonstrated team leader experience (7-10 years) - in sales, account management or a comparable position

  • You are familiar with the concept of coaching

  • You are fluent in French, German and English

  • You are assertive and able to use your own initiative

  • You have a strong understanding of the B2B industry and strong skills in stakeholder management

  • You have the ability to make key business decisions and work independently

  • You feel at ease in a fast-paced environment and are easy with change

  • You enjoy being “on the road”: required travel within the region for approx. 50% of the time (Valid Driver’s License)

  • You are team-driven and have excellent communication & negotiation skills, commercial acumen and presentation skills

  • You are able to set clear goals, devise plans, attend to appropriate details and meet deadlines

  • You have a data-driven mindset with an in-depth understanding of metrics

  • You have working knowledge of G Suite and Microsoft Excel

  • You are able to absorb information quickly to deliver insights and solutions

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or similar, or relevant work experience

  • Experience in Hospitality, Gastronomy, HORECA - or even food logistics - is a big plus
