In this position, you will be supervising a team of Service Engineers and Service Technicians working on new installations/commissioning, upgrading and service projects for the Process Industries Service Operations.

Reporting to the Head of Field Service, you will help to execute the Service strategy and boost growth by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality and cost-effective service offerings, solutions and projects. You will drive excellence through effective planning and allocation of personnel resources in accordance with processes, procedures and guidelines.

Your responsibilities
  • Allocating and monitoring work on projects based on scope, delivery time, competencies and workload – effectively utilizing personnel resources through proper planning,scheduling and related financial KPIs
  • Managing the team and activities of Field personnel for project execution
  • Contribute proactively in improvement management (i.e. internal and cross Department process improvements and implementation) and ensure quality execution is adhered to within local division quality policy
  • Building sustainable customer relationships by utilizing feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices and anticipating current as well as future needs
  • Implementing Health, Safety & Environment directives and ensuring instructions and regulations are communicated within the team, while monitoring and reporting progress and results
  • Working with others to push service productivity improvement activities, streamlining Field Service processes and applications to support customers
  • Reviewing competence levels to ensure that people are appropriately qualified to handle the jobs assigned to them
  • Collaborate with Sales team, Service Project Mgmt. and development teams
  • Participate in strategy planning and business development

Your background
  • 5+ years of experience in project management and conceptional organizational planning
  • Site experience as site manager, supervisor
  • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining and commissioning
  • Knowledge of site personnel management
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Fluency in English, German and any additional language are an asset
